Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. For services, the period begins upon conclusion of the contract; for the purchase of goods, on the day on which the consumer or a third party designated by the consumer takes possession of the vehicle. The right of withdrawal expires prematurely if the Provider has fully performed a service after the consumer has expressly agreed and confirmed that they lose their right of withdrawal upon full performance of the contract. It also does not exist for goods that are manufactured to the customer's specifications or clearly tailored to personal needs (for example an individually sourced desired vehicle).

Exercising the Withdrawal

Consequences of Withdrawal

In the event of an effective withdrawal, the Provider shall refund all payments received without undue delay, at the latest within fourteen days of receipt of the declaration of withdrawal, using the same means of payment that the consumer used. If the consumer requested that the service begin during the withdrawal period, they owe a reasonable amount for the service provided up to the withdrawal. When returning goods, the consumer bears the direct cost of return; for any loss of value resulting from handling the goods beyond what is necessary for inspection, the consumer must provide compensation.

Model Withdrawal Form

To withdraw, you may use the following template (not mandatory): "I/we hereby withdraw from the contract concluded by me/us for the provision of the following service / the purchase of the following goods […], ordered on / received on […], name, address and date."
