Data Processed
We process account and profile data, order and payment data as well as usage and log data. The purposes are the initiation and handling of orders, invoicing and communication, the fulfilment of legal obligations as well as the security and improvement of the platform. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) (contract), (c) (legal obligation) and (f) (legitimate interest) GDPR. We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for these purposes; order and invoice related data is retained within the statutory retention periods (as a rule up to ten years) and deleted thereafter.
Processors / Service Providers
We engage carefully selected service providers on the basis of data processing agreements: hosting with Hetzner (Germany), email delivery via Resend, media storage via Cloudflare R2, AI image generation (internal only, without personal data) via Google Gemini as well as the optional AI assisted reading of uploaded vehicle documents via Anthropic (USA). For this document reading, the uploaded files (such as vehicle registration documents or invoices), which may contain personal data such as the vehicle identification number or keeper details, are transmitted to Anthropic for text recognition. Insofar as data is transferred to third countries (such as the USA), this takes place on the basis of suitable safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
